Cosmetic dentistry is no longer the preserve of the rich and famous. We all care about appearances for different reasons. A pleasing smile can make a world of difference to self confidence, self image and how others perceive us. We know this is important to you in both your social and work environments.
Will Murphy Dentistry has been at the forefront of cosmetic dentistry in Birmingham for 20 years providing tooth whitening, veneers and white fillings for our happy patients.
Missing teeth or loose dentures can be an embarrassment or cause upset for all ages. Not being able to eat comfortably causes misery for many people in society. Imagine being able to replace a missing tooth without bridges or being able to throw away a loose and painful denture.
We have been allowing patients to do this at our practice for 20 years. The health and happiness benefits are extraordinary and our satisfied implant patients will be delighted to tell you themselves.
Chances are if you’ve been a member of our surgery for a while, you’ve met our Hygienist, but the question is, are you seeing our Hygienist on a regular basis? You see as well as regular check-ups with Will or Sinem, you really should be seeing our Hygienist as well and you can see the Hygienist even if you haven’t had a check up for a while.
Call the surgery to make an appointment to see the hygienist.
Botox treatments are injected into target muscles of the face to temporarily help them to relax. It blocks the messages being sent from the nerves to the muscles, thereby preventing the muscles from contracting, this in turn softens facial expressions and can reverse the signs of ageing or prevent further lines and wrinkles from developing.
Results can be seen as quickly as 2-3 days post injection, however for the full effects it may take a while longer and it is best to wait 10-14 days.
Intravenous sedation is a safe way to stay relaxed and comfortable during dental treatment. Also known as conscious sedation, intravenous sedation will take you to the edge of sleep which removes your anxiety, allowing the dental treatment to be carried out in a relaxed state.
Much like an operation in a hospital, the sedation is performed by an experienced sedationist, who’ll administer the sedation through a cannula in your arm or hand. Your sedation is monitored throughout your treatment and ensure that it’s at the correct level so it’s comfortable for both yourself and the dentist to work. So there’s no fear of suddenly ‘coming round’.
